~ Let’s Do Lunch ~

February 28th, 2008 by paul

From talking to friends and family it would appear that there is an ever increasing number of people who are interested in photography. However many are getting frustrated that they can’t find the right assistance that will allow them to take their photography skills beyond just happy snaps.

Of course, I’m always more than happy to help out anyone who asks. But because everyone’s so busy nowadays, it’s often difficult to find that couple of uninterrupted hours we need for a proper discussion. So that got me thinking…

We all need to take time out of our lives to eat, right? Let’s do lunch!

Here’s the deal. For the measly cost of buying me lunch (at a venue of your choice) you’ll receive one-on-one tuition in any aspect of photography you desire, including:

  • Things to consider before buying a camera
be confident you’re buying a camera that’s right for you
  • Basic camera operation
let me show you what all those buttons on your camera mean
  • The interrelationship between aperture, shutter speed and ISO
a must know for every SLR owner
  • Photo composition for maximum impact
bring more excitement and interest to your photos
  • Effective flash photography
the correct (and incorrect) ways to use flashes to enhance your photos
  • Using post-production to make good photos into great photos
learn how to use a “digital darkroom” to extract the best from your images
  • Running a successful photography business
get an insight into how I made THIA Photography stand out in a crowded marketplace

What’s the catch? There is none. I’ve taken so much enjoyment from photography that I’d love the opportunity to give something back.
